Andrews began woodworking at an early age, and teaching was just a natural progression. After leaving public school education, he spent eight years as Master Toymaker at Silver Dollar City in Branson, Missouri.

His passion has always been presenting wood in a practical and natural form—and what better format than turning? Andrews feels that every raw piece of native Ozarks hardwood is just a package waiting to be unwrapped.

The scraps and decaying stumps that make up the entire inventory of raw material dictate it’s own finished form… and you experience it with all of your senses when it does!
