Sterling Silver and Gold-Filled Circles by Thomas Kuhner
These two peened concentric circles, one sterling silver and one gold filled, sparkle as they twirl.
Dimensions: 2" long from top of ear wire arch. 01.25" wide.
Handmade by Thomas Kuhner of Sanbornton, NH.
Thomas Kuhner’s jewelry is made in his home workshop located in the historical district of a quaint New England Village.
Each piece is carefully formed in precious metals using traditional centuries-old techniques. The metals are forged, chased, or peened and polished to a high shine, embellished with precious and semi-precious stones or lustrous freshwater pearls. Designs range from simple and classic to contemporary and whimsical.
Cast pieces (using the lost wax process) are inspired by the seasons of nature - from the delicate petals of a flower to the ephemeral beauty of an individual snowflake. Constructed pieces evolve from simple and natural patterns found everywhere from shells in the sea to molecular patterns in the world of the atom.
