Tray with Poppies by Nancy Briggs

This carved tray is made of red earthenware clay. The rich, matte surface features red-orange poppy flowers and green poppy leaves with a light green background.

Handmade by Nancy Briggs of Des Moines, IA. Briggs is a full-time artist and part-time teacher at the Ankeny Art Center. She has been a potter for over 40 years and through her work, shares the message to "Love the Earth".
