Beth Mueller was born in rural Indiana. Her artwork is inspired by having lived there, her travels, family, and day to day experiences. Before becoming a full-time studio artist she worked as a camp counselor, supervisor for a housing shelter, waitress, bartender, and a French teacher, not necessarily in that order. She now designs and makes by hand a line of fine art prints, stationary, and pottery in Barre, Vermont, where she lives with her family.
