Lunar Solar Tarot Box by Woodcutts
Our tarot boxes are made from hand finished Pine with an Alder applique on top. They are perfect for your most favorite deck of tarot cards (both standard size and jumbo size), or any other special trinkets and findings. They have a groove engraved on the inside to keep the lid in place, and a half moon groove on the top for easy access to slide the lid open.

John Murphree (creator and artist of WoodCutts) had been a designer craftsman for over 40 years, exploring many mediums including leather work, beading, scrimshaw, silver smithing and finally, wood working. In 2001, John noticed that the wood jewelry displayed in trade magazines and local stores was limited in both creativity and design and that quality pieces were very expensive. This observation inspired him to combine his jewelry designing skills with his woodworking knowledge to create a concept for wood jewelry that would mark a change in the industry.
In the summer of 2017, John retired to his beloved Colorado mountains and spent the remainder of his years there. His daughter, Lacey Schlosky, stepped into the ownership role. While intending to hold strong to John’s original creative vision, Lacey focuses on enhancing existing lines and the creation of new products, all the while continuing a steadfast commitment to affordable pricing with the highest quality standards.
