These colorful stars are sure to brighten anyone's day (or night)! Each star is frit cast, which means that small grains of colored glass are added to a mold and fired in a kiln until the frit melts together to form this playful star shape. Stars hang from a silver ribbon.

Made by Kara and Tommy Gunter of TommyGunGlass in Hot Springs National Park, Arkansas.

TommyGunGlass uses a variety of kiln-formed techniques like fusing, slumping, and casting. Our studio name was created by combining two names: Tommy and Gunter (Gun). Kara Gunter is our owner, designer, and the main craftsperson. She is also an artist, a teacher, and a small-business owner. Tommy is Kara's husband, and he lends a hand in the studio between teaching and composing music.
