Necklace #6557 by Janet Rubenstein

This stunning necklace was handmade by Janet Rubenstein of Grosse Pointe, Michigan.

It is made of sterling silver and the pendant measures approximately 3.5" long. It hangs from a 24" sterling silver snake chain.

I love making jewelry.

I particularly love taking an idea, turning it into a design that I can then cut, file, forge and heat, creating pieces that feel intimate, intense and organically “right”, in the emotional sense of that word.

All of my work is constructed of solid sterling or fine silver. Sometimes I use other metals and materials as accents. I strive to keep my approach fluid to allow the pieces to stay fresh and engaging.
