Brass Bracelet by Lizbeth Doran

This gorgeous bracelet features smooth brass beads hand-loomed on brown leather and completed with a brass toggle closure that is stamped with the artist's name. Dress it up or down!

Measures approximately 7 5/8" long.

These bracelets are made using the hand-looming technique with leather and semi-precious gemstones. The closure buttons are made from copper and sterling silver that is soldered together. The button is then domed with a shank soldered to the back.

"After 30 years in the family construction business as an estimator and project manager, it was time for a change. On a whim I took a bead class at the local bead shop. Things just escalated from there. First, I learned basic beading, then I moved on to hand-looming. I fell in love with the look. Then I wanted to make my own closure buttons. The next step was metal-smith classes at the local technical college."
