These cards are printed on a white uncoated textured recycled paper with soy-based inks. These cards are blank on the inside & are paired with smooth white envelopes, packaged in a Kraft colored box with a die-cut opening on the front revealing the top image.

Ever since I can remember I made art. I painted, wrote and illustrated stories, I would scatter paper and art supplies all around me on the floor and draw for hours. I was the "creative kid" always doodling in class, I even signed up for extra art classes outside of grade school at the local art center! Obsessed.
I grew up in the great city of Minneapolis (Prince lived here and we have over 10,000 lakes!), having adventures in my backyard, playing in the lakes and rivers, making up imaginary stories of unicorns on my rainbow bike, and exploring the local art community were a big part of my upbringing.
In 2016 I finally made my life long dream come true, I started freelancing and Emiko Rainbow was born! My Japanese and Scandinavian ethnicity influences me to create colorful, uplifting art that inspires all to celebrate our authenticity and diversity. I provide illustration and product design to art licensing, product design and children's books. Recently I published my first illustrated children's book, Nana and Abuela and collaborated with the Minnesota Twins designing an exclusive Artist Series T-shirt.
You can find me on my sunny patio, drawing on my iPad, eating sushi, watching my wiener dog and whippet mutt play. Or having a picnic with my husband and daughter.
