We've taken to calling these our "everyday, all day" glasses. We use them morning to night, for juice, for water, even for wine and whisky on the rocks. We don't call them indestructible--they are blown glass after all--but they're absolutely sturdy: our personal sets have survived daily dishwashing, lots of dinner parties, even crowds of neighborhood 5-year-olds in need of refreshment before barreling back outside.

Corey Silverman of The Furnace was formally trained as a glass artist while getting his BFA at Alfred University in Alfred, NY. Upon graduating in 1998 he worked with several glass studios around the country before settling in Denver, CO in 1999. Everything from the Furnace is handblown and sculpted by Corey. Although there are specific product lines, every item is one of a kind. All pieces are signed and dated.
