Hey wait a minute, you say, the Florida scrub-jay doesn’t live in New York! Okay, so Harper also included a few birds of special significance to the Cornell Lab of Ornithology, for whom this painting was commissioned. Harper (American, 1922-2007) developed his unique style while a student at the Art Academy of Cincinnati and the Art Students League in New York City. He went on to illustrate numerous books and to create works for many conservation organizations, including the Audubon Society and the National Park Service, for which \u003cem\u003eThe Coral Reef\u003c\/em\u003e was produced. Harper designed more than fifty posters for various natural areas, parks, and conservation organizations, each celebrating a special part of our natural world in the unmistakable and vibrant style Harper called minimal realism.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/div\u003e","brand":"Pomegranate","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":52643164684579,"sku":"G-23963 AA1056","price":22.95,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0281\/3349\/0791\/files\/Screenshot2025-02-15103120.png?v=1739637106","url":"https:\/\/shopotlag.com\/products\/ch-we-think-the-world-boxed-notecards","provider":"Outside the Lines Art Gallery","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
