I began my professional photography career as a photojournalist for the Cedar Rapids Gazette newspaper in Iowa. While working for the Gazette I started building my personal image library so I could eventually achieve my goal of becoming a fulltime freelance and fine art photographer. In 1994 I achieved that goal and have been working as a freelance, fine art, and commercial photographer ever since.
