The finish on this cutting board is a mixture of tung oil and citrus solvent, applied with a rubbing drying process that takes a full six weeks. It yields a hard-wearing, food-safe finish.

The cutting board can be cleaned with soap and water, wiped and is best left to dry in a vertical position to prevent warping. Restore finish with The Real Milk Paint Company's Half & Half or food-grade mineral oil.
